Reggaeholics Ushers Great Dance Parties Featuring Rebel Music Back to NYCs Village

New York, July 12, 2009… The latest edition of Reggaeholics dubbed “Nice Up The Dance” has moved into a new home at Don Hill’s nightclub in Manhattan, NY and promoters have definitely raised the bar to new heights to bring Reggae enthusiasts a night of Rebel music they won’t easily forget. For the first time ever, five top Reggae DJ’s will appear together on stage with definite plans to generate audience excitement. While attendees intermingle with other Reggae fans sharing their passion for the music, they’ll hear great music from Reggae icons of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the very latest tunes by popular artists; their favorite DJ’s will dip into massive and proven collections as they select tunes guaranteed to appeal to everyone from lifelong Reggae fanatics to the newest of Reggae fans.

While the Village in NY’s lower Manhattan region is conveniently accessed by all other boroughs, NJ & Connecticut too and has traditionally been a bustling center of creativity including a collage of musical genres of every type, in recent years many agree that until now the area has not hosted a truly sensational Reggae dance party event. Promoters of Reggaeholics “Nice Up The Dance” recognized this void and selected the newly renovated and spacious Don Hill’s nightclub that proudly boasts of having one of the most exquisite technical sound systems in NYC, bar none.

Promoters NY Reggae Linkups and Turntable Productions team up to produce Reggaeholics drawing on the talents of longtime veteran sound systems King Crown International, Demolition Sound, Stateside Revolution Ruddy Virgo International and newer to the NY scene but no less experienced, Chung International. With this diverse group of selectors, expect to hear anything you can imagine from Roots, Culture and Dub to Lover's Rock and Dancehall music.

The doors for Reggaeholics “Nice Up The Dance” open at 11 PM. Partygoers are encouraged to RSVP and then arrive early to take advantage of great promoter discounts on admissions offered before 12 Midnight: only $10 for the ladies and $15 for men. General Admission is $20; 21+ with ID. Causal trendy dress attire is suggested and if you’re planning to dance all night long, be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Reggaeholics “Nice Up The Dance” is sponsored by Jamaican energy drink gurus Baba Roots and one of the longest running and most respected radio programs in Reggae music in NY, Culture Jam 93.5 FM. Kicking off this summer, the Reggaeholics “Nice Up The Dance” series will undoubtedly raise the bar in terms of providing audiences with the excellent music that they crave and promises to be one of the highlights of the Reggae dance sessions returning at last to the Village that Real Reggae lovers have long awaited.
